The Grand Island Central Catholic High School Hall of Fame was formed to honor the rich tradition of our high school and the individuals and teams that have contributed to that tradition.
Please nominate the individuals and teams worthy of consideration for this prestigious award. All nominations (electronic or hard copy) need to be submitted by April 10th for consideration for the induction in September. Nomination forms will be sent to a selection committee that will decide on the honorees.
Qualifying nominees who are not selected will be held for future consideration. A nominee shall be considered no more than five consecutive years, but may be reconsidered again after a one-year absence. To submit a nomination, email Bill Gavers, AD by April 1, 2025.

Specific Criteria for Individual and Team Inductees
The following definitions and criteria shall apply to individual inductee nominating categories. There are no quotas for any category.
ATHLETE: Any GICC student who participated in athletics during high school. Any such person may not be considered until 5 years after GICC high school graduation.
TEAM - A team which excelled at the highest level at least 5
years prior to graduation. A coop team where GICC is the lead school would be eligible for consideration.
COACH - Must be or have been an employee at Central Catholic.
A coach would be eligible for the Hall of Fame if he/she coached at least five years or retired from coaching.
Once a person has been nominated, the nomination remains in the Hall of Fame’s active file for five years. If a nominee is not selected within five years the nomination is removed from consideration.
